Our new friend, Jorge Ayala, have just sent us some great pictures of his studio work. Jorge is the founder of [Ay]A Studio.
Interarticulated Landscapes aims at a series of connecting structures with different use and performance, such as promenades and walking floating paths, blending both river banks with a responsive mesh. This mesh performs diverse layers engaged to each other, and generates preservation and awareness of local natural cycles such as tidal variation and flooding scenarios.
A series of architectural typologies sprinkle over the masterplan generating several networks at different levels: ponds, floating gardens, public space, and urban fabric.
