EMERGENT é uma equipe norte americana que procura a diferença em arquitectura através do cruzamento da arte e da biologia com a organização multi-axial das suas estruturas. No desenvolvimento de um projecto, procuram que cada parte tectónica seja um complento da outra e que todas juntas ofereçam um carácter dinâmico e de grande beleza. Os Emergent procuram (como aqui na proposta para a Biblioteca Central de Praga) uma interacção dos sistemas estáticos, com a fluidez dos elementos biologicos e as suas rotinas.
EMERGENT is an american team that searches difference in architecture, due to the crossing of art and biology with the multi-axial organization of it's structures. In the development of a new project, they intent that any tectonic part would be a complement of the other, and that all combined together, create a beautiful dynamic character. Emergent seek ( like in their proposal for the new Prague Library) an interaction of static systems, with the fluid of biological elements and their routines.
