Concurso para a concepção de uma paragem de autocarro, auto-suficiente. Com base no efeito de Doppler, criou-se, apartir de uma forma rigida, um objecto que flui e flutua comandado pela deslocação do vento, iludindo-nos com a ideia de velocidade/rapidez - adoptada como lema ao transporte público -, criando assim um elemento que marca a paisagem urbana e actua como ícone de um interveniente citadino. O objecto funcionaria apartir de paineis solares em pelicula no topo, que lhe permitiriam a sua auto-suficiência.
Competition to design a self-sufficient bus stop. Inspired in the Doppler effect, it has been created, from a rigid/solid shape, one object that floats and flows guided by wind, giving the illusion with the idea of speed, creating one element that marks the urban landscape and acts as an icon to the public transportation. The bus stop would fuction with thin solar panels which would give total self-sufficency (www.solarcentury.com).
