Atocha - MadridO estudio FAM foi o vencedor do memorial às vitimas do atentado de 11 de Março de 2004 em Madrid. O memorial lembra-nos uma grande escultura em vidro, simbolizando a alma daqueles que partiram. No seu interior podem-se ler mensagens em memória dos acontecimentos. Uma pele exterior em blocos de vidro e uma interior em ETFE, constroem o memorial, oferecendo jogos de luz a quem se acerca ao seu interior, um interior escuro onde os reflexos e as palavras dominam as sombras. A ausência de estrutura na sua construção, permite que este monumento ganhe uma aparente leveza e um grandiosa simbologia. a ver em estudioFAM
estudio FAM from Madrid where the 11-M Madrid Victim Memorial winning team. Their project resembles us a big glass sculpture, symbolizing the soul of the terrorist attack victims. In it's interior we can read messages written in memory to the terrible facts. One exterior Glass brick skin, and other in ETFE, build the memorial, offering different types of reflexes and light colours, dominating the sourrounding shadows of the lower floor. The absence of structure in it's construction, allows that this monument acquire weightless and an amazing simbology. to see in estudioFAM
